- Discussion:
- gastric acid pump inhibitor; 
- used for severe erosive esophagitis; 
- high doses may lead to hypergastrinemia, enterochromaffinlike cell hyperplasia, and gastric carcinoid formation. 
- therefore use lower doses if possible.

- 20 mg PO qd; Hypersecretory: 60mg PO qd
