Posterior Femoral Cutaneous Nerve



- is derived from the Lumbrosacral Plexus
- arises from posterior branches of S1, S2 & anterior branches of S2, S3;
- travels thru greater sciatic foramen;
- accompanies Sciatic Nerve in gluteal region;
- continues downward in midline deep to the fascia lata, giving off branches that supply the skin of the posterior thigh.
