Radial Head Frx & MCL Instability

- Discussion:
    - long-term result for excision of "isolated" radial head frx w/ competent MCL and interosseous membrane are predictably good;
    - however, if frx is associated w/ disruption MCL radial head excision is contraindicated;
           - instead, consider use of silastic or metallic radial head prosthesis to serve as temporary spacer following repair of the MCL and flexor-pronator mass
