  • other manifestations of disorder (enlarged skull, short & broad hands & feet, dstrophic nails, and blue sclerae) usually are recongnized in
    infancy;
  • pathologic fractures are a frequent complication;
  • on x-ray, bone sclerosis appears during infancy
