The transepiphyseal fracture of the femoral neck

Werkman DM. Injury. 12(1):50-2, 1980 Jul. A patient with a transepiphyseal fracture of the femoral neck is described. The prognosis is known to be poor. Nevertheless, it is suggested that an attempt at an anatomical reduction should be made to aid an arthrodesis or reconstructive procedure at a later stage if necessary.
