implants using the double-stemmed implant. Laird-L Clin-Orthop. 1990 Jun(255): 268-72 Various operations have been advocated in the treatment of hallux valgus (bunions) and other painful conditions affecting the great toe, e.g., osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and deformity.
