We report the use of a simple new technique for the repair of recent and old, neglected disruptions of the calcaneal tendon, which can be used where there is a wide gap. We reviewed 13 patients from one to six years after operation; all had good objective and subjective results. Four had minor skin complications. Author-abstract.
