Origin: Superior surface of the pubis, the pectineal line between iliopectineal eminence and tubercle of pubis; Insertion: Pectineal line of femur, from lesser trochanter to linea aspera; Action: Adduction of thigh at hip; Assistance in thigh flexion and controversial as to lateral or medial rotation at the hip; Nerve Supply: Femoral and Obturator nerves, L2 , L3 , L4 ; (See Innervation ) Synergists: Adductor Brevis, Adductor Longus , Adductor Magnus , Gracilis ;
