Minor forefoot amputation in patients with low ankle pressure


Baker WH. Barnes RW. American Journal of Surgery. 133(3):331-2, 1977 Mar. Ankle pressures were obtained using Doppler ultrasound in fifty-seven patients undergoing forefoot amputations. Contrary to other reports, no amputations healed with a pressure of less than 60 mm Hg.
