Ipsilateral proximal metaphyseal and flexion supracondylar humerus
fractures with an associated olecranon avulsion fracture James-P. Heinrich-S-D. Department of Orthopedics, Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orthopedics. 1991 Jun. 14(6). P 713-6. An ipsilateral proximal humerus [1mfracture, [m "flexion" supracondylar humerus fracture, [m and olecranon [1mfracture [m found together is a rare event. The supracondylar [1mfracture [m should be reduced and percutaneously pinned before the ipsilateral upper extremity fractures are reduced. Displaced supracondylar fractures should be pinned with crossed smooth pins. Most pediatric [m proximal humerus and olecranon fractures can be treated closed.
