Cortical Bone

- Discussion:
      - cortical bone gives no signal on MRI, and therefore is less useful in evaluating purely cortical lesions;
      - MRI is sensitive imaging test for focal & diffuse disorders of Bone Marrow;
      - occult frxs and bone bruises produce changes in signal intensity of MRI relating to Bone Marrow edema
