First Generation Ceph
- Uncomplicated
UTI: 1-2gm/day in single (qd) or divided doses (bid);
- Moderate to Severe UTI: 2gm/day in divided doses bid;
- Skin and skin suture infections: 1gm/day in single dose qd or divided
dose bid;
- Group A Beta hemolytic strep pharyngitis and tonsillitis: 500 mg bid for
10 days;
- Must decrease dosage w/ renal failure;
- 90 % of dose will be excreted in urine;
